Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair is a distinguished higher education administrator, educator, master trainer, researcher, and consultant with extensive experience in life skills education, youth development, and social empowerment.
His professional journey began with the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, where he held leadership positions at district and zonal levels. He later served in senior academic and administrative roles at the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) and as Registrar of the Central University of Kerala.
Dr. Nair has made significant contributions to the field of Life Skills Education, including leading the development of a standardized scale for assessing life skills among adolescents and youth. He has also guided doctoral scholars, conducted research, and published extensively on life skills, youth, adolescents, tribal development, and social harmony.
As a leading consultant and trainer, he has developed numerous training manuals, educational modules, books, and learning resources for teachers, adolescents, youth, tribal communities, and social development professionals.
His academic leadership and professional contributions continue through his roles as Visiting Professor at Assam Don Bosco University and Managing Editor of the Journal for Social Empowerment. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to empowering individuals and communities through education, life skills, and social development.
